I know I'm bored when I write a Top 10 Personal Favorite iPhone Apps post. Well... As the title says, I'll list my ten favorite iPhone apps and I'll say in a few lines why they're my favorites.
CTT
This is the official app of the Portuguese mail service. At first I was quite skeptical about it since, living in Portugal for all my life, I know that this country is quite bad at new technology, though I must say this app is great and very useful if you find it boring to always check CTT's website.
This app allows you to track your mail, as well as finding the nearest post office and much more feature regarding the CTT's mail services. download |

WhatsApp
Everyone knows WhatsApp and nowadays probably everyone uses it. Even though I think there are things that could be improved, I personally love it and I find it really useful to talk to people, especially when I go abroad and my carrier charges ridiculously high prices for every text message sent. I'm quite worried about WhatsApp's future though, since, as we know, it was bought by Facebook and curiously it was offline for over 2 hours in the very first day after the transaction... We'll see how it goes.

Tweetbot
Ever since I use Twitter, I've always looked for a good app apart from the official one. I've probably tried all apps for Twitter available on the AppStore and I sure spent a lot of money on them and never found the one. Though, I was always coming across Tweetbot and for some reason I always ignored it because it was too expensive... Well, one day I finally decided to give it a try and I fell in love instantly. It's the best app for Twitter out there and it has tons of features that the official app doesn't give users — like muting people, which might be very useful.

Period Diary Pro
Obviously this is an app for the ladies; though our boyfriends/husbands can use it too — I personally think it's useful for men to know a little more about their woman's monthly struggle.
This app is exactly what the name says: it's a period diary! The features include predictions of your next periods (in a range of about one year), fertile period and ovulation day; it also calculates your average cycle length and period length; you can also add notes and symptoms to keep track of your body's behaviour throughout your cycles. It has the option to mark days as Intimate days and it also has a feature in case you're pregnant. One great feature of this app is that you can set push notifications for it to warn you when your period is about to start, in case you're distracted like me and forget you're not a little girl anymore. The middle of the flower changes depending on if you're on your period or not, saying how many days are left for it to start, how long it's been since it started, or how many days your period is late. download |

PayPal
If you're one to buy or sell stuff online, then PayPal is probably your partner when it comes to the transactions. I recently downloaded the app to track and receive notifications of the transactions made within my account and I gotta say it's really a great app. It lets you do basically everything the website does, in a simpler way; and its design is simply stunning, taking into account the kind of app it is.

My Vodafone
Even though this one is Portuguese, My Vodafone app is available in more countries. It basically lets you track your Vodafone numbers when it comes to the available credit and usage. It gives you the option to top-up your phone if you need to and you also have Vodafone contact numbers in case you need any assistance.

MB Phone
If your Portuguese, you might recognize this app's look. It's the exact same system as the ATM machines!
MB Phone lets you check your account's balance, as well as pay bills and do anything you usually do on an ATM machine. It's very useful if you're too lazy to go out to the ATM and it also gives you the option to have receipts sent to you by SMS. You can also check your account movements to keep track of the money that goes in or out. The down side of this app is that it's a Vodafone exclusive so you can't use it if the SIM card in your phone is not from Vodafone. download |

iStudiez Pro
I found this app out when I was looking for a school schedule and it's probably the best school organiser app out there. It has the planner section where you insert your classes and schedule; it has a calendar view so you know when you have classes/exams/assignments; you can set holidays and the names of your teachers, as well as their email address or phone numbers. When you set the classes, you're given all options you need: from the name of the subject, the classroom, the teacher, the hours, the days of the week, etc. You can also set push notifications to warn you about classes/exams/assignments so that you don't forget them.
iStudiez Pro is also available for iPad and Mac. download |

Dropbox
There's not much to say about Dropbox; it's simply the best app there is to store files and share them with people or among devices.
Down side of it — though, understandable — is that if you need more storage space you have to buy it and it's not the cheapest thing on Earth. Though, the free plan is perfect for regular people to share their files or simply make sure they're safe somewhere. download |

Line
Pretty much the same thing as WhatsApp, just with slightly more "childish" graphics and it has the feature to make free calls between users. You have to register your email address if you want to use the desktop app.
